Who is JROA?
I’m a self-taught web developer with a great passion for learning and I want to help you bring your dream website to life.
I manage everything from website navigation and layout, to a company’s web hosting and security architecture. My expertise lies within front-end web development. The main languages in my tech stack are JavaScript, React and HTML/CSS. I love to travel, workout, read and find unique restaurants to try.
The journey
Let me be honest here: I never thought that I would become a web developer.
I always thought I’d find my calling somewhere in the 9-to-5 corporate world. That changed once I stumble upon coding and things changed pretty much overnight.
My wife needed a website and without knowing a single thing about how to accomplish this, I said I would do it. It was like a whole new world opening up to me that I had never explored before. The more I read about coding the more intrigued I felt. I began taking courses, trainings and committed myself to learning all the ins and outs of web development.
I love that I now get to work with businesses and individuals around the world and use my creativity and skillsets to help them with their websites.
Fun facts
I love dogs. My wife and I have the best German Shepherd in the world! (you won’t change my mind).
I was born in Venezuela and visited 10 different countries by the time I was 18, with my favorite being Spain.
I’m a fitness coach because I love it.
I connect with music and can remember the lyrics of almost every song I have ever heard.
